originally from Kusadasi, Turkey, is a graduate of the Izmir Dokuz Eylul University State Conservatory, holding her bachelor’s degree in Viola Performance. She has studied with renowned violists such as; Hartmut Lindemann, Ron Ephrat, Cetin Aydar, Daniel Rubenstein, and Ben Ullery. Arin had her Artist Diploma at California State University School of Music, Fullerton, and pursued her Master of Music in Viola Performance at California State University School of Music, Fullerton with the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s Ben Ullery and graduated in May 2023.
An experienced viola player, Arin has played in many orchestras, toured Europe with the Turkish Youth Philharmonic Orchestra. While studying in Izmir, she was chosen to be part of the Olten Philharmonic Orchestra. As an orchestra player, Arin has toured with internationally renowned musicians, shared the concert stage with artists such as Shlomo Mintz, Alice Sara Ott, Maxim Vengerov, Kristof Barati, Ola Rudner. Her festival appearances include Young Euro Classic in Berlin, Taormina and Ravello Festival in Italy, Lisboa Music in Portugal, Aspendos Opera in Turkey, Ostrava Contemporary Music in the Czech Republic. Arin has been playing in the MPS Quartet for Rotary and performed in an outstanding concert hall in Europe as well as in Turkey. Also, she is a member of the California Young Artists Symphony and American Youth Symphony. She regularly performs with New Mexico Philharmonic.
Arin recently moved to Los Angeles from Turkey. Arin is greatly enjoying getting to know Los Angeles. She enjoys discovering new places and cultures, and she also attended an exchange program in Belgium for a semester. This experience encouraged her to discover the world with her instrument.
